SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- LeBron James finally scaled the big stage, and like a bunch of burly bouncers, the San Antonio Spurstossed him off it.
Welcome to the NBA finals, young fella.
James couldn't solve San Antonio's stifling defense and the pick-and-rolling Spurs, as fundamental and selfless as ever,outclassed Cleveland in an 85-76 victory in Game 1 on Thursday night.
Tim Duncan had 24 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks, and Tony Parker added 27 points and seven assists for the Spurs,who began their quest for a fourth championship since 1999 with a defensive clinic on James and the Cavs, makingtheir first appearance in the finals.
With the eyes of Texas, a curious hoops nation and the world upon him, the 22-year-old James, who has rarely failed to riseto any occasion, flopped like never before.
James shot just 4-of-16 from the field and finished with 14 points and six turnovers in 44 exhausting minutes. Led by BruceBowen, their top defensive agitator, the Spurs grounded Cleveland's soaring superstar.
"If I went by one guy, another guy stepped up," James said. "For us to have a chance to win, I have to play better."
This was hardly the series opener James, the NBA or ABC-TV executives, had hoped for. James' first foray into the finals washyped in the days leading up to the game as many wondered if he could deliver the way Michael Jordan once did.
But James wasn't close to being Jordanesque, and he came nowhere near matching His Airness' first game in the finals whenhe scorched the Los Angeles Lakers for 36 points on June 2, 1991.
Game 2 of the best-of-seven series is Sunday night in San Antonio. Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary) will be in Cleveland.
The Spurs' game plan was to make it tough for James to score. They made it nearly impossible as Bowen forced him towardthe sideline and away from the lane -- his personal runway to dunks.
"We did a very good job on LeBron, not giving him the lanes that he's used to," Duncan said. "It takes five guys understandingwhat we're doing, understanding a game plan and sticking with it."
The Spurs, who lost twice to the Cavaliers during the regular season, seemed to be one step ahead of James all night. Whenhe cut left, they cut him off. When he tried going right, they were right there. By the time James made his first outsidejumper -- a 3-pointer with 6:54 left -- the Spurs had built a 74-59 lead.
By then, the Spurs had squeezed the life out of Cleveland and its young star.
"LeBron is the head of the snake," Spurs forward Robert Horry said, "and we need to cut that head off."
The 31-year-old Duncan, labeled boring because of his lack of flash, did what he always does: dominate.
The Big Fundamental knocked down open jumpers, freed up teammates with crunching picks and generally had his wayagainst Cleveland's frontline for San Antonio, which was lifted by its crowd's incessant chants of "Go, Spurs, Go."
Parker, too, was on top of his game. The speedy point guard slashed and sliced past Larry Hughes and James for easylayups.
"We have to make the game harder for him," Hughes said.
It couldn't have been any tougher for James.
After missing his first eight shots, he finally got his first field goal with 7:15 left in the third quarter, blasting down the lanethrough a pack of Spurs to hit a scoop shot that brought the Cavs within 46-41.
But Bowen responded with a 3-pointer, Manu Ginobili hit another from long range and Duncan dished to Parker for a layup tomake it 56-47. On the Spurs' next trip, Parker weaved his way inside and dropped in a layup, the ball sitting on the rim forseveral seconds before finally falling.
The Spurs eventually pushed their lead to 64-49 after three, and then opened the final period with 3-pointers by Horry andGinobili to open their biggest lead, 70-52 with 8:50 left.
Two 3-pointers by James and a few jumpers by rookie Daniel Gibson, who led the Cavaliers with 16 points, cleaned up thescore but it wasn't nearly that close as Cleveland shot under 40 percent until a late barrage.
"They started to do a good job towards the end of the game," Duncan said. "They got a couple of layups and a couple of easyshots. We'll have to clean that up a little bit."
James left with 45 seconds to go, dejectedly slumping into his seat after a night he'd probably like to forget.
"He struggled mightily," Cavs coach Mike Brown said. "They closed down the paint, and we tried to pick-and-roll with him.When he did get in the paint, he wasn't able to finish because they were bringing bodies, not just one, but two, threebodies."
Before taking the floor for their first finals game in Cleveland's 37-year history, the Cavaliers huddled near the tunnel for aprayer. Then, James and his teammates repeated something they've done since the first day of training camp.
"One, two, three, championship," they shouted in unison.
But it became clear very early on that any climb to a title would be steep.

On the occasion of his fourth finals, the three-time finals MVP, arrived at the arena with a freshly shaved head -- typically asign that he's ready to rumble. He has been reluctant to talk about his place in history or the Spurs' ascension to a dynastylevel.
But if this game was any indication, San Antonio may soon be recognized as one of the league's great powers. Unless, ofcourse, James figures out a way to get to the basket or get his jumper to fall.
"A lot of shots I took, I usually make," he said. "Things like that happen. You have one off night, but it's not like the NCAAtournament where you have one game and you're out. We've got to regroup."

Hello and welcome to my page I am planning on posting daily things that I find interesting on the internet. I hope youenjoy these items as much as I do. Most topics posted on this page will be completely random. Just various stories and news tidbits I have discovered today.
My Favorite Featured Story Brought to you by Yahoo Walking along a path taken by thousands of others at the Crater of Diamonds State Park,Nicole Ruhter noticed something everyone else had missed — a tea-colored, 2.93-caratdiamond.
Ruhter, 13, of Butler, Mo., said she would name her find the "Pathfinder Diamond" afterpulling what she described as a broken pyramid from the ground. Her parents,grandparents, brother and two sisters had already spent the day digging in twoother fields before heading down the path just after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
"We were walking through the path and I just walked and saw this little shine," saidRuhter, who has just finished the seventh-grade. "We wrapped it up in a little dollarbill and took it back and showed them."
Ruhter said both park rangers and her vacationing family got excited about the diamond,found along a service road. So far this year, visitors to the park have found 332diamonds, three of them Tuesday alone, said Bill Henderson, assistant parksuperintendent.
While the park does not do appraisals, Henderson said experts appraised a 4-carat diamondfound previously in the park between $15,000 to $60,000. Henderson said Ruhter'sdiamond did have chips and several imperfections.
"It's a nice diamond," he said. "It looked like it had been broken off at one side."
For now, Ruhter and her family said they'd keep the diamond for a time and find out howmuch it is worth before attempting to sell it.
"I was kind of praying to God. I was saying, 'I don't care if it's worth whatever it'sworth, I don't care if it's a tiny little sliver of something, I just wantsomething,'" Ruhter said. "Ten minutes later, I just found it."
Crater of Diamonds State Park is the world's only diamond-producing site open to thepublic and visitors are allowed to keep the gems they find. On average, two diamonds are foundeach day at the park.
The largest of the 25,000 diamonds found since the state park was established in 1972 wasthe 16.37-carat Amarillo Starlight, a white diamond found by a visitor from Texas in1975.

Unimpeachable sources tell TMZ the deal was sealed yesterday, and that Hilton made herexit early early this morning.
She was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. She served atotal of three days -- the normal stay for a violation of this kind.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department will hold a news conference in an hour to discusswhat went down.

My Favorite Featured Story Brought to you by Yahoo Walking along a path taken by thousands of others at the Crater of Diamonds State Park,Nicole Ruhter noticed something everyone else had missed — a tea-colored, 2.93-caratdiamond.
Ruhter, 13, of Butler, Mo., said she would name her find the "Pathfinder Diamond" afterpulling what she described as a broken pyramid from the ground. Her parents,grandparents, brother and two sisters had already spent the day digging in twoother fields before heading down the path just after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
"We were walking through the path and I just walked and saw this little shine," saidRuhter, who has just finished the seventh-grade. "We wrapped it up in a little dollarbill and took it back and showed them."
Ruhter said both park rangers and her vacationing family got excited about the diamond,found along a service road. So far this year, visitors to the park have found 332diamonds, three of them Tuesday alone, said Bill Henderson, assistant parksuperintendent.
While the park does not do appraisals, Henderson said experts appraised a 4-carat diamondfound previously in the park between $15,000 to $60,000. Henderson said Ruhter'sdiamond did have chips and several imperfections.
"It's a nice diamond," he said. "It looked like it had been broken off at one side."
For now, Ruhter and her family said they'd keep the diamond for a time and find out howmuch it is worth before attempting to sell it.
"I was kind of praying to God. I was saying, 'I don't care if it's worth whatever it'sworth, I don't care if it's a tiny little sliver of something, I just wantsomething,'" Ruhter said. "Ten minutes later, I just found it."
Crater of Diamonds State Park is the world's only diamond-producing site open to thepublic and visitors are allowed to keep the gems they find. On average, two diamonds are foundeach day at the park.
The largest of the 25,000 diamonds found since the state park was established in 1972 wasthe 16.37-carat Amarillo Starlight, a white diamond found by a visitor from Texas in1975.

Hello and welcome to my page I am planning on posting daily things that I find interesting on the internet. I hope you enjoy these items as much as I do. Most topics posted on this page will be completely random. Just various stories and news tidbits I have discovered today.
My Favorite Featured Story Brought to you by Yahoo For the fans who traveled across the country and slept on the sidewalk outside CBS Television City , this was their day -- theday of Bob Barker's last "The Price Is Right " show.
The silver-haired icon, who has hosted the game show for 35 years, plans to officially begin his retirement Thursday.
Philip Barrett, 24 , of Tampa, Fla., had camped outside the studios since Saturday to see Barker tape his last showWednesday afternoon.
"This is the chance of a lifetime," he said.
Die-hard fans from across the country huddled in sleeping bags for days to say goodbye to Barker. CBS sends out moretickets than its 325-seat studio can accommodate, so fans who wanted a seat needed to get in line early.
Melanie Zepeda Velez, 32, traveled from Alberta, Canada. "I'm here because I need to kiss Bob ," she said.
Fans hoped for a chance to bid on prizes, but mostly they came to bid farewell.
Barker's long run on the show has inspired fan traditions. Most female contestants kiss him on the cheek. Members of themilitary wear their uniforms. There is also the 83-year-old Barker's trademark signoff -- "Have your pets spayed andneutered" -- a tribute to his favorite cause and now a fan mantra.
Barrett had to hear Barker say it one last time. "I get teary-eyed just thinking about it," he said.
Exuberant fans have always been part of "The Price Is Right ," which selects about 12 audience members in each show to playfor prizes ranging from a grandfather clock to lavish vacations and car packages.
Fans passed their time in line talking game strategy and discussing rumors that Barker's last show would feature a raremillion-dollar prize or that every audience member would be given a car.
But they'd already won the real prize: the last chance to see their favorite host at work.
"I'd rather win a couch from Bob Barker than a million dollars from Howie Mandel," host of NBC's "Deal or No Deal ," said MarkDub, a NASA engineer who flew from Houston for the final show. "He's part of American culture."

Rebecca Eckler claims that she shopped around her 2004 book to be made into a movie. In the middle of the process, shelearned of the Apatow project. The script that was making the rounds, she alleges, had a picture of a martini glass with apacifier around the stem -- the same as on the cover of her book.
Eckler, who told her tale in this month's Maclean's magazine, cites other similarities -- including the fact that the KatherineHeigl character is an up-and-coming television reporter, and the main character in Eckler's book is an up-and-coming newspaper reporter. She also says that the movie and book have a secondary female character in common -- theperson that both main characters go to for advice -- and that both of the secondary characters have screaming children.
The lawsuit was filed in a federal court in January, alleging copyright infringement and seeking unspecified damages.
Judd Apatow, through his reps, released this statement: "The book 'Knocked Up' is very different than the film 'Knocked Up.'The book is about a woman who gets pregnant by the fiance that she loves on the night of her engagement party. The filmis a very different story; the film is about a one-night stand between a pot smoking slacker and an ambitious youngwoman that leads to a pregnancy and their attempts to get to know each other. Anyone who reads the book and sees the movie willinstantly know that they are two very different stories about a common experience."

The silver-haired icon, who has hosted the game show for 35 years, plans to officially begin his retirement Thursday.
Philip Barrett, 24 , of Tampa, Fla., had camped outside the studios since Saturday to see Barker tape his last showWednesday afternoon.
"This is the chance of a lifetime," he said.
Die-hard fans from across the country huddled in sleeping bags for days to say goodbye to Barker. CBS sends out moretickets than its 325-seat studio can accommodate, so fans who wanted a seat needed to get in line early.
Melanie Zepeda Velez, 32, traveled from Alberta, Canada. "I'm here because I need to kiss Bob ," she said.
Fans hoped for a chance to bid on prizes, but mostly they came to bid farewell.
Barker's long run on the show has inspired fan traditions. Most female contestants kiss him on the cheek. Members of themilitary wear their uniforms. There is also the 83-year-old Barker's trademark signoff -- "Have your pets spayed andneutered" -- a tribute to his favorite cause and now a fan mantra.
Barrett had to hear Barker say it one last time. "I get teary-eyed just thinking about it," he said.
Exuberant fans have always been part of "The Price Is Right ," which selects about 12 audience members in each show to playfor prizes ranging from a grandfather clock to lavish vacations and car packages.
Fans passed their time in line talking game strategy and discussing rumors that Barker's last show would feature a raremillion-dollar prize or that every audience member would be given a car.
But they'd already won the real prize: the last chance to see their favorite host at work.
"I'd rather win a couch from Bob Barker than a million dollars from Howie Mandel," host of NBC's "Deal or No Deal ," said MarkDub, a NASA engineer who flew from Houston for the final show. "He's part of American culture."

Rebecca Eckler claims that she shopped around her 2004 book to be made into a movie. In the middle of the process, shelearned of the Apatow project. The script that was making the rounds, she alleges, had a picture of a martini glass with apacifier around the stem -- the same as on the cover of her book.
Eckler, who told her tale in this month's Maclean's magazine, cites other similarities -- including the fact that the KatherineHeigl character is an up-and-coming television reporter, and the main character in Eckler's book is an up-and-coming newspaper reporter. She also says that the movie and book have a secondary female character in common -- theperson that both main characters go to for advice -- and that both of the secondary characters have screaming children.
The lawsuit was filed in a federal court in January, alleging copyright infringement and seeking unspecified damages.
Judd Apatow, through his reps, released this statement: "The book 'Knocked Up' is very different than the film 'Knocked Up.'The book is about a woman who gets pregnant by the fiance that she loves on the night of her engagement party. The filmis a very different story; the film is about a one-night stand between a pot smoking slacker and an ambitious youngwoman that leads to a pregnancy and their attempts to get to know each other. Anyone who reads the book and sees the movie willinstantly know that they are two very different stories about a common experience."

Kansei frowns when he hears the word "bomb," smiles at "sushi" and looks scared and disgusted when someone says"president" -- and he isn't even human.
Japan's latest robot, called Kansei and created by a university research team, can pull up to 36 different facial expressionsbased on a program which creates word associations from a self-updating online database of 500,000 keywords.
The English keywords then trigger the most appropriate facial expression, which ranges from happiness to sadness, angerand fear.
"What we are trying to do here is to create a flow of consciousness in robots so that they can make the relevant facialexpressions," said project leader Junichi Takeno, a professor at Meiji University's School of Science and Technology.
"I believe that's going to be a key to improving communication between humans and robots," he said.
The robot has 19 movable parts underneath the silicone face mask. When the robot hears the word "president," the onlinedatabase picks up associated words such as "Bush," "war" and "Iraq" and creates an expression which theresearchers said is meant to mix fear and disgust..
Takeno says that in a few years, Kansei will also have speech abilities and will be able to convey feelings, which could beuseful in places such as nursing homes for the elderly.
Japan is hooked on androids, with several companies selling robots that mimic human action such as playing drums ordancing to music.
With Japan's population expected to slide by around a quarter by 2050, and immigration a sensitive issue, some laboratorieshave developed humanoid robots that can work as maids.
Earlier this year, a university researcher created a robot that looks and moves exactly like him.

All net proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets will go to the Corps of Compassion. "WPA is proud to support Corps ofCompassion in its programs of encouragement and the nourishment of needy children in the Clark County School District,"said WPA founder and chairman Jesse Jones.
Each raffle ticket is $50. There are no limits on the number of raffle tickets available for purchase by any one person. All of thenet proceeds from ticket purchases go to the Corps of Compassion and will help feed needy children in the Las Vegascommunity.
Tickets can be purchased at the WPA booth, located 50 steps down the hall from the main entrance to the WSOPtournament. Each raffle ticket is $50. The drawing will be held July 4, 2007.

Kansei frowns when he hears the word "bomb," smiles at "sushi" and looks scared and disgusted when someone says"president" -- and he isn't even human.
Japan's latest robot, called Kansei and created by a university research team, can pull up to 36 different facial expressionsbased on a program which creates word associations from a self-updating online database of 500,000 keywords.
The English keywords then trigger the most appropriate facial expression, which ranges from happiness to sadness, angerand fear.
"What we are trying to do here is to create a flow of consciousness in robots so that they can make the relevant facialexpressions," said project leader Junichi Takeno, a professor at Meiji University's School of Science and Technology.
"I believe that's going to be a key to improving communication between humans and robots," he said.
The robot has 19 movable parts underneath the silicone face mask. When the robot hears the word "president," the onlinedatabase picks up associated words such as "Bush," "war" and "Iraq" and creates an expression which theresearchers said is meant to mix fear and disgust..
Takeno says that in a few years, Kansei will also have speech abilities and will be able to convey feelings, which could beuseful in places such as nursing homes for the elderly.
Japan is hooked on androids, with several companies selling robots that mimic human action such as playing drums ordancing to music.
With Japan's population expected to slide by around a quarter by 2050, and immigration a sensitive issue, some laboratorieshave developed humanoid robots that can work as maids.
Earlier this year, a university researcher created a robot that looks and moves exactly like him.

Hours after strolling the red carpet in a strapless black dress, Paris Hilton traded her designer duds for a jail-issued jumpsuit.
The 26-year-old heiress entered the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday. She'sexpected to serve three weeks for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
Hilton surrendered to sheriff's deputies after making a surprise visit to the MTV Movie Awards in the
"I am trying to be strong right now," she told reporters on the red carpet. "I'm ready to face my sentence. Even though this isa really hard time, I have my family, my friends and my fans to support me, and that's really helpful."
Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Hilton was easy to work with.
"Her demeanor was helpful. She was focused, she was cooperative," he said.
Hilton turned herself in at the Men 's Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles just after 10:30 p.m., then was escorted to the allwomen's facility in Lynwood, where she was booked, fingerprinted, photographed, medically screened and issued anorange top and pants, Whitmore said.
Hilton's booking photo showed the heiress wearing what appeared to be a V-neck shirt, eye makeup and lip gloss thathighlighted a slight smile. Her long blond hair was draped over one shoulder.
After checking in, Hilton was given her first meal: cereal, bread and juice.
The "Simple Life " star will be housed in the "special needs" unit of the 13-year-old jail, separate from most of its 2,200inmates. The unit contains 12 two-person cells reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates. Hilton's cell has two bunks, a table, a sink, a toilet and a small window. She does not have a cellmate.
Like other inmates in that unit, Hilton will take her meals in her cell and will be allowed outside the 12-by-8-foot space for atleast an hour each day to shower, watch TV in the day room, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone. Nocell phones or BlackBerrys are permitted in the facility, even for visitors.
The jail, a two-story concrete building next to train tracks and beneath a bustling freeway, has been an all-female facilitysince March 2006. It's located in an industrial area about 12 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles
"I did have a choice to go to a pay jail," Hilton said Sunday, without giving details. "But I declined because I feel like themedia portrays me in a way that I'm not and that's why I wanted to go to county, to show that I can do it and I'm going to be treatedlike everyone else. I'm going to do the time, I'm going to do it the right way."
When she was sentenced May 4, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled that she would not be allowed any workrelease, furloughs or use of an alternative jail or electronic monitoring in lieu of jail.
Sometimes stars are allowed to do their time in a jail of their choosing. In such cases, they pay a daily room-and-board fee tothe smaller jails, which afford them more privacy and comfort.
Cop-slapping actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, for example, served three days behind bars in 1990 at the El Segundo jail near the LosAngeles International Airport. She paid $85 a day.
On Saturday, about 15 photographers, reporters and television crews staked out the entrances to the jail waiting for Hilton'sarrival. Authorities had also cordoned off a grassy area outside the facility for the media. She had until Tuesday toreport.
On Sunday, about a dozen photographers and television crews were at the Lynwood facility when she arrived in an unmarkedsport utility vehicle. Video captured by celebrity news site TMZ.com showed Hilton inside the vehicle with hermother, Kathy.
Hilton's publicist, Elliot Mintz, said he spoke with Kathy Hilton after she returned from the jail.
"She told me it was very emotional," Mintz said. "She also said that she feels this will be a time when Paris will be able tothink and reflect and to spend time alone to learn from the experience because in Paris ' life she's never alone -- there'salways a constant chatter around her."
Officers arrested Hilton in Hollywood on Sept. 7. In January, she pleaded no contest to the reckless-driving charge and wassentenced to 36 months' probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.
She was pulled over by California Highway Patrol on Jan. 15. Officers informed Hilton she was driving on a suspended licenseand she signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive. She then was pulled over by sheriff's deputies onFeb. 27, at which time she was charged with violating her probation.

Hours after strolling the red carpet in a strapless black dress, Paris Hilton traded her designer duds for a jail-issued jumpsuit.
The 26-year-old heiress entered the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday. She'sexpected to serve three weeks for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Hilton was easy to work with.
"Her demeanor was helpful. She was focused, she was cooperative," he said.
Hilton turned herself in at the Men 's Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles just after 10:30 p.m., then was escorted to the allwomen's facility in Lynwood, where she was booked, fingerprinted, photographed, medically screened and issued anorange top and pants, Whitmore said.
Hilton's booking photo showed the heiress wearing what appeared to be a V-neck shirt, eye makeup and lip gloss thathighlighted a slight smile. Her long blond hair was draped over one shoulder.
After checking in, Hilton was given her first meal: cereal, bread and juice.
The "Simple Life " star will be housed in the "special needs" unit of the 13-year-old jail, separate from most of its 2,200inmates. The unit contains 12 two-person cells reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates. Hilton's cell has two bunks, a table, a sink, a toilet and a small window. She does not have a cellmate.
Like other inmates in that unit, Hilton will take her meals in her cell and will be allowed outside the 12-by-8-foot space for atleast an hour each day to shower, watch TV in the day room, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone. Nocell phones or BlackBerrys are permitted in the facility, even for visitors.
The jail, a two-story concrete building next to train tracks and beneath a bustling freeway, has been an all-female facilitysince March 2006. It's located in an industrial area about 12 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles
"I did have a choice to go to a pay jail," Hilton said Sunday, without giving details. "But I declined because I feel like themedia portrays me in a way that I'm not and that's why I wanted to go to county, to show that I can do it and I'm going to be treatedlike everyone else. I'm going to do the time, I'm going to do it the right way."
When she was sentenced May 4, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled that she would not be allowed any workrelease, furloughs or use of an alternative jail or electronic monitoring in lieu of jail.
Sometimes stars are allowed to do their time in a jail of their choosing. In such cases, they pay a daily room-and-board fee tothe smaller jails, which afford them more privacy and comfort.
Cop-slapping actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, for example, served three days behind bars in 1990 at the El Segundo jail near the LosAngeles International Airport. She paid $85 a day.
On Saturday, about 15 photographers, reporters and television crews staked out the entrances to the jail waiting for Hilton'sarrival. Authorities had also cordoned off a grassy area outside the facility for the media. She had until Tuesday toreport.
On Sunday, about a dozen photographers and television crews were at the Lynwood facility when she arrived in an unmarkedsport utility vehicle. Video captured by celebrity news site TMZ.com showed Hilton inside the vehicle with hermother, Kathy.
Hilton's publicist, Elliot Mintz, said he spoke with Kathy Hilton after she returned from the jail.
"She told me it was very emotional," Mintz said. "She also said that she feels this will be a time when Paris will be able tothink and reflect and to spend time alone to learn from the experience because in Paris ' life she's never alone -- there'salways a constant chatter around her."
Officers arrested Hilton in Hollywood on Sept. 7. In January, she pleaded no contest to the reckless-driving charge and wassentenced to 36 months' probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.
She was pulled over by California Highway Patrol on Jan. 15. Officers informed Hilton she was driving on a suspended licenseand she signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive. She then was pulled over by sheriff's deputies onFeb. 27, at which time she was charged with violating her probation.
