Running back Willis McGahee has a new team and a new contract.
McGahee, who was acquired Thursday by the Baltimore Ravens in a trade with the Buffalo Bills for three draft picks, signed anew six-year contract extension worth more than $32 million.
Agent Drew Rosenhaus confirmed the deal, which included $15 million in guarantees. That guarantee comes in the form of a$7.5 million signing bonus McGahee will be paid now and guaranteed option bonuses of $6 million in 2008 and $1.5 million in2009. Beyond that, McGahee receives base salaries of $595,000 in 2007 (final year of original deal), $605,000 in 2008,$620,000 in 2009, $3.6 million in 2010, $6 million in 2011, $6.5 million in 2012 and $7.2 million in 2013.
The deal follows Buffalo's decision to trade the disgruntled McGahee to the Ravens for a third- and seventh-round pick in thisyear's NFL draft and a third-rounder in 2008. McGahee had one year remaining on his contract with the Bills, but hadexpressed unhappiness with playing in Buffalo.
The Bills were similarly unhappy with McGahee over the past year. He failed to show up for offseason workouts last yearunder new coach Dick Jauron. He also frustrated the coaching staff by not knowing his assignments and failing to pick up blocks inpass protection last season. According to one Bills staffer, a member of the coaching staff had to signal the play toMcGahee specifically during the season to explain to McGahee what to do.
Nonetheless, Baltimore showed no fear in trading for McGahee and offering him the new deal.
"The Ravens really stepped up to make this happen," Rosenhaus said. "Willis is extremely happy and this is going to be agreat situation for both sides."
According to one source, Baltimore's confidence stemmed from McGahee having friends and mentors such as Ed Reed andRay Lewis on the team. All three played at the University of Miami and have worked out together in the past during the off-season.
Already this off-season, Rosenhaus has negotiated two substantial contracts for running backs. This week, he worked out afour-year, $20 million deal for Thomas Jones with the New York Jets after Jones was acquired from the Chicago Bears .
The day before free agency, Rosenhaus worked out a four-year, $23 million contract for Jacksonville Jaguars running back FredTaylor .
McGahee was a first-round pick in 2003 despite suffering a serious knee injury during the national championship gameagainst Ohio State that year. He sat out his first season rehabilitating the knee, but has since rushed more than 1,000 yards in two ofhis first three seasons on the field.
He came up short of 1,000 yards this season after missing two games with a rib injury. Overall, McGahee has rushed for3,365 yards and 24 touchdowns.

In the article, the 22-year-old reveals that growing up she was "a singing, dancing fool," and idolized another famous blonde; "Iabsolutely love Marilyn Monroe."
Even though Johansson hasn't been caught pantyless, nor gone into rehab, she still likes to go out and have a good time withfriends, adding, "but I just lay low. Sometimes you get caught, and there's nothing you can do about it." Except saycheese!

A Georgia truck driver stepped forward Wednesday to claim half of a $390 million jackpot, the richest lottery prize in U.S.history.
"I'm going to do a lot of fishing," Ed Nabors, 52, of Rocky Face, Ga., about 90 miles north of Atlanta, said in a deep Southerndrawl. The other winning ticket in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing was sold at a liquor store in New Jersey,and the holder did not immediately come forward.
Nabors bought his ticket when he stopped in for his weekly cup of coffee at a convenience store in Dalton - the self-proclaimed "Carpet Capital of the World" - near a carpet mill run by his employer, Mohawk Industries.
He said he didn't learn he had won until 9 a.m. - about 10 hours after the numbers were announced - when his co-workers toldthem that someone bought the winning ticket in Dalton.
"I'm still numb," he said.
He elected to take his winnings in a lump sum instead of annual installments, and will get $116.5 million before taxes, ormore than $80 million after.
Nabors said he wants to buy a house for his daughter, who has wanted to move out of her mobile home for a long time, andplans to keep working - "at least two more days."
Nabors' mother, Doris, said the whole family was in shock.
"We just can't believe it. He was shaking so hard they sent him home from work," she said from the door of the rural homeshe shares with her son. An American flag waved over a patch of daffodils, and a small camper and fishing boat wereparked outside.
The winning numbers were announced in New York's Times Square, where the 12 participating Mega Millions states agreedto move the drawing from Atlanta after the jackpot hit $355 million. Even though the temperature was just 16 degrees, a fewhopefuls showed up to watch the drawing.
The winning numbers were 16-22-29-39-42, with the Mega Ball 20. The odds of hitting the winning combination: 1 in 176million.
The previous largest lottery jackpot in the U.S. was $365 million in 2006, when eight workers at a Nebraska meatpackingplant won the Powerball drawing. The Big Game, the forerunner of Mega Millions, paid out a $363 million jackpot in 2000.
Mega Millions tickets are sold in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York,Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington state.

TMZ has learned Anna Nicole Smith's bodyguard talked to the Seminole Police Department today about the circumstancessurrounding Smith's death.
We're told the cops went to Big Moe's house this morning in Pembroke Pines, Fla., because they had questions about thesecurity camera video at the hotel where Smith died. Sources say Big Moe told the cops Anna was on "heavy doses" ofprescription drugs that day, including flu medicine and antibiotics. Sources say Moe also told cops that in the monthsleading up to Smith's death, Howard K. Stern gave her "some types of drugs," though he didn't specifically knowwhich. As he put it, "Anna was in a cloud."
And there's this: Although Moe has not told cops about this, he privately says that Howard K. Stern had certain patterns ofconduct when it came to Anna Nicole, and that pattern changed the day she died. We're told it has to do with how Howardwould constantly check up on Anna, but he went MIA during the critical time before her death, and Moe says that was"highly strange."

Nabors bought his ticket when he stopped in for his weekly cup of coffee at a convenience store in Dalton - the self-proclaimed "Carpet Capital of the World" - near a carpet mill run by his employer, Mohawk Industries.
He said he didn't learn he had won until 9 a.m. - about 10 hours after the numbers were announced - when his co-workers toldthem that someone bought the winning ticket in Dalton.
"I'm still numb," he said.
He elected to take his winnings in a lump sum instead of annual installments, and will get $116.5 million before taxes, ormore than $80 million after.
Nabors said he wants to buy a house for his daughter, who has wanted to move out of her mobile home for a long time, andplans to keep working - "at least two more days."
Nabors' mother, Doris, said the whole family was in shock.
"We just can't believe it. He was shaking so hard they sent him home from work," she said from the door of the rural homeshe shares with her son. An American flag waved over a patch of daffodils, and a small camper and fishing boat wereparked outside.
The winning numbers were announced in New York's Times Square, where the 12 participating Mega Millions states agreedto move the drawing from Atlanta after the jackpot hit $355 million. Even though the temperature was just 16 degrees, a fewhopefuls showed up to watch the drawing.
The winning numbers were 16-22-29-39-42, with the Mega Ball 20. The odds of hitting the winning combination: 1 in 176million.
The previous largest lottery jackpot in the U.S. was $365 million in 2006, when eight workers at a Nebraska meatpackingplant won the Powerball drawing. The Big Game, the forerunner of Mega Millions, paid out a $363 million jackpot in 2000.

TMZ has learned Anna Nicole Smith's bodyguard talked to the Seminole Police Department today about the circumstancessurrounding Smith's death.
We're told the cops went to Big Moe's house this morning in Pembroke Pines, Fla., because they had questions about thesecurity camera video at the hotel where Smith died. Sources say Big Moe told the cops Anna was on "heavy doses" ofprescription drugs that day, including flu medicine and antibiotics. Sources say Moe also told cops that in the monthsleading up to Smith's death, Howard K. Stern gave her "some types of drugs," though he didn't specifically knowwhich. As he put it, "Anna was in a cloud."
And there's this: Although Moe has not told cops about this, he privately says that Howard K. Stern had certain patterns ofconduct when it came to Anna Nicole, and that pattern changed the day she died. We're told it has to do with how Howardwould constantly check up on Anna, but he went MIA during the critical time before her death, and Moe says that was"highly strange."

At least two people woke up Wednesday on their way to becoming millionaires. Someone bought a winning ticket for therecord $370 million Mega Millions jackpot in Dalton, Ga., and another winning ticket was sold in Cape May County, N.J.,lottery representatives in the two states said early Wednesday.
There could be more winners, too - California's results were slowed early Wednesday by the high volume of sales. CaliforniaLottery spokesman Rob McAndrews said it would likely be midmorning before he knows for sure. The other ninestates involved in the lottery struck out, said Mardele Cohen, spokeswoman for the Ohio Lottery, which compiles all thestates' information.

Tuesday night's drawing was held in New York's Times Square in ABC's television studio rather than Atlanta after brisk salespushed what had been an estimated $355 million jackpot estimate to a record $370 million.
Even though the temperature was just 16 degrees, a handful of hopefuls showed up in Times Square to watch the drawing.
Millions of others had lined up at lottery agents in the 12 states to buy tickets Tuesday. New Yorkers bought more than 1million tickets an hour, said Robert McLaughlin, the state's lottery director. Virginia retailers sold about 8,550 tickets perminute.
New York construction worker Andelko Kalinic had an idea of what he would do if his Mega Millions ticket paid off.
"Go to the moon," he said. "Why not?"
Some lottery hopefuls in Ohio never had a chance. Ohio's lottery ticket system went down statewide at about 10:20 p.m., 25minutes before the deadline, Cohen said. The cause hadn't yet been determined.
"For those people who wanted to make a wager and didn't get a chance, we're very, very sorry," she said.

The Poker Players Alliance will be working with Congress to provide a skillgame exemption for poker and pave the way for eventual regulation and taxation of the industry in the United States.

MUMBAI (Reuters) - Starbucks Corp. (NasdaqGS:SBUX - News ) is opposing Indian entrepreneur Shahnaz Husain's plans tostart a chain of coffee shops called Starstrucks, the Mint business paper reported.
The U.S. coffee shop chain has told India's Controller-General of Patents, Designs and Trademark that the name isdeceptively similar to its own name, the paper said.
Husain, an herbal beauty specialist who has a range of skincare and haircare products and salons named after her, is notwilling to give up the name, the paper said.
"Why should I give it up? Hundreds of others are deceptively similar. What to do? They have opposed and we will fight,"Husain, called the Herbal Queen, told Mint.
Husain plans to open 25 stores in a year. The shops will have a glamour theme, with posters of movie stars, the paper said.
"My concept's totally different," she said.
Starbucks, the latest in a line of foreign companies facing branding challenges in India, is reported to be awaiting permissionfrom the Indian government to open its coffee shops in a joint venture with an Indonesian franchisee and PantaloonRetail India Ltd.'s (Bombay:PART.BO - News ) founder Kishore Biyani.
The government had sought some clarifications from Starbucks on its joint venture arrangement, local papers have said.

Larry Birkhead's lawyer tells TMZ there will be no negotiating with Howard K. Stern.
Debra Opri says the only subject of negotiation is "how fast he [Stern] will produce the child for a DNA test and how quicklyhe will allow that child to go to California with her real father."
As TMZ has been reporting, Stern has been asking Birkhead for some involvement in Dannielynn's financial affairs afterpaternity is established. Now Opri says, "There were never any deals. It was a one-sided discussion."

A new dinosaur species was a plant-eater with yard-long horns over its eyebrows, suggesting an evolutionary middle stepbetween older dinosaurs with even larger horns and the small-horned creatures that followed, experts said.
The dinosaur's horns, thick as a human arm, are like those of triceratops - which came 10 million years later. However, thisanimal belonged to a subfamily that usually had bony nubbins a few inches long above their eyes.
Michael Ryan, curator of vertebrate paleontology for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, published the discovery in thismonth's Journal of Paleontology. He dug up the fossil six years ago in southern Alberta, Canada, while a graduate studentfor the University of Calgary.
"Unquestionably, it's an important find," said Peter Dodson, a University of Pennsylvania paleontologist. "It was sort of thegrandfather or great-uncle of the really diverse horned dinosaurs that came after it."
Ryan named the new dinosaur Albertaceratops nesmoi, after the region and Cecil Nesmo, a rancher near Manyberries,Alberta, who has helped fossil hunters. The creature was about 20 feet long and lived 78 million years ago. Theoldest known horned dinosaur in North America is called Zuniceratops. It lived 12 million years before Ryan's find, andalso had large horns.
That makes the newly found creature an intermediate between older forms with large horns and later small-horned relatives,said State of Utah paleontologist Jim Kirkland, who with Douglas Wolfe identified Zuniceratops in New Mexico in1998. He predicted then that something like Ryan's find would turn up. "Lo and behold, evolutionary theory actually works,"he said.

Is Anna Nicole's grave going to be a tourist attraction? A spokesman for the cemetery where Daniel is buried told TMZ thatthere were now four or five visitors a week at the grave. With the fight over the body, TMZ wondered if there was money tobe made in the crypt (so to speak), so we asked the King of the Internet Graveyard, findagrave.com founder, Jim Tipton.Grave at Pere-Lachaise cemetery in Paris, which "now has a security guard ... cemeteries like to have someonehistorical, not someone as tabloid as Anna."
Asked about the potential for making money from the gravesite, Tipton said that there are only a few graves where theycharge admission, like Princess Diana's or Elvis', where E is buried in the backyard of Graceland. James Brown's family is stillundecided about where they're going to bury him. It miffs Tipton that you can't see Richard Nixon's grave without payingadmission to his library. "Many cemeteries like having visitors and will give you maps, but in California there's a cultureof privacy which extends into death. Forest Lawn is very private, with locked mausoleums," said Jim, "Findagrave.comnow helps celebrity 'gravers' locate graves in these cemeteries that are notoriously tourist-unfriendly."
When asked if Anna's grave would be as popular a tourist destination as Princess Diana's or Marilyn's, Tipton said, "Anna'sno Diana. In death, she won't have the notoriety that Marilyn has. She will have just a passing interest. There'll be six months oftraffic, that's about it. Although her memorial on our pages has been visited almost as much as John Ritter's andChristopher Reeve's." Tipton added that he was glad she was buried in the Bahamas, because he'd like to make a trip there.

A new dinosaur species was a plant-eater with yard-long horns over its eyebrows, suggesting an evolutionary middle stepbetween older dinosaurs with even larger horns and the small-horned creatures that followed, experts said.
The dinosaur's horns, thick as a human arm, are like those of triceratops - which came 10 million years later. However, thisanimal belonged to a subfamily that usually had bony nubbins a few inches long above their eyes.
Michael Ryan, curator of vertebrate paleontology for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, published the discovery in thismonth's Journal of Paleontology. He dug up the fossil six years ago in southern Alberta, Canada, while a graduate studentfor the University of Calgary.
"Unquestionably, it's an important find," said Peter Dodson, a University of Pennsylvania paleontologist. "It was sort of thegrandfather or great-uncle of the really diverse horned dinosaurs that came after it."
Ryan named the new dinosaur Albertaceratops nesmoi, after the region and Cecil Nesmo, a rancher near Manyberries,Alberta, who has helped fossil hunters. The creature was about 20 feet long and lived 78 million years ago. Theoldest known horned dinosaur in North America is called Zuniceratops. It lived 12 million years before Ryan's find, andalso had large horns.
That makes the newly found creature an intermediate between older forms with large horns and later small-horned relatives,said State of Utah paleontologist Jim Kirkland, who with Douglas Wolfe identified Zuniceratops in New Mexico in1998. He predicted then that something like Ryan's find would turn up. "Lo and behold, evolutionary theory actually works,"he said.

Is Anna Nicole's grave going to be a tourist attraction? A spokesman for the cemetery where Daniel is buried told TMZ thatthere were now four or five visitors a week at the grave. With the fight over the body, TMZ wondered if there was money tobe made in the crypt (so to speak), so we asked the King of the Internet Graveyard, findagrave.com founder, Jim Tipton.Grave at Pere-Lachaise cemetery in Paris, which "now has a security guard ... cemeteries like to have someonehistorical, not someone as tabloid as Anna."
Asked about the potential for making money from the gravesite, Tipton said that there are only a few graves where theycharge admission, like Princess Diana's or Elvis', where E is buried in the backyard of Graceland. James Brown's family is stillundecided about where they're going to bury him. It miffs Tipton that you can't see Richard Nixon's grave without payingadmission to his library. "Many cemeteries like having visitors and will give you maps, but in California there's a cultureof privacy which extends into death. Forest Lawn is very private, with locked mausoleums," said Jim, "Findagrave.comnow helps celebrity 'gravers' locate graves in these cemeteries that are notoriously tourist-unfriendly."
When asked if Anna's grave would be as popular a tourist destination as Princess Diana's or Marilyn's, Tipton said, "Anna'sno Diana. In death, she won't have the notoriety that Marilyn has. She will have just a passing interest. There'll be six months oftraffic, that's about it. Although her memorial on our pages has been visited almost as much as John Ritter's andChristopher Reeve's." Tipton added that he was glad she was buried in the Bahamas, because he'd like to make a trip there.
